Here are some of our favorites:
Amaryllis
Amaryllis is an amazing choice for winter weddings, it is a beautiful and big flower and it comes in perfect winter colors. Whether you put it in the center or mix it with other flowers, Amaryllis makes your winter wedding look elegant, warm, and full of the magic of the season. When combining Amaryllis with other flowers, consider the color palette of the wedding and choose matching shades.
Hydrangea
Of course, Hydrangea is on the list of winter flowers, especially now when the colors start to change and the beautiful red and green colors start to come out. Every flower is different, which makes them perfect for a winter wedding or bouquet!
Helleborus
Also known as the Winter Rose or Christmas Rose, is an amazing pick for florists during winter weddings. It blooms when most other flowers take a winter nap, in the pretty colors red, white and pink. The Helleborus go very well together with Amaryllis, the contrast in structure is big but that makes the flower arrangement wild and wintery!
“Hydrangeas remind us of the beauty in transformation“
White and Red Roses
White and Red Roses are one of the best winter colors, you see them pop out a lot during this season. They have a timeless appeal and bring a romantic vibe with them because they symbolize love, passion, and romance.

Sustainable flower delivery – The Secret Garden Flowers
SustainablityIn the middle of April, we launched our new sustainable flower box. These boxes are made of 100% recycled materials, and re-usable up to 200 times! Before, we were sending all our flowers in cardboard boxes. Although we picked up most of the boxes and recycled them, nothing beats this newly invented box. We’ve teamed up with a company called ‘Newwen’, they are focusing on sustainability by making everything recyclable, reusable and they’re moving towards zero waste and 100% sustainability.
Together with one of our florists, Jolanta from ‘The Secret Garden Flowers’, we reviewed the box and spoke about how this box changed things for her. We shared the interview with Newwen and they made an amazing article, one I’d like to share with you.
