How to Combine your green flowers?

First things first. When combining different shades of green, pay attention to balance. If you would like to combine the darker Green Trick with the lighter green Hydrangea Mojito, make sure one color doesn’t overpower the other, because that would be a shame…

Second, if the couple allows this of course, bring the attention to your green centerpieces by adding pops of color via other blooms, such as the neutral white Tanacetum or go crazy with an Orange Ranunculus. The eye of your crowd for sure will be attracted by the green.

Finally, use a little bit of foliage and greenery throughout your arrangement. But be careful to not overdo it, foliage isn’t the main character in this green fairytale.

How to Care for your green flowers?

Green flowers for a wedding are, like all flowers, fragile and delicate. Before working with any kind of flower – green or otherwise – conditioning is key.

“We always say, loose as much leaves as you can effort. The less leaves, the more energy goes into the flower.”

Give your flowers (except for poppies, narcissus, and hyacinth) a sharp, clean cut. Remove the leaves. We always say, loose as much leaves as you can effort. The less leaves, the more energy goes into the flower. Put the fresh cut stems in clean water with flower food. Important to know is that for the green Viburnum special flower food is used, since they need extra care. Make sure your flowers had a good drink before you start using them.
