As we all know, pink is a very common color in flowers. It has always been the ‘association’ with women, girls and femininity – take for example: the movie Barbie. Since the Barbie movie hit the screens, it did more than just entertain, it brought a big pink wave along. Suddenly, everybody seemed to love this bright color even more, it became trendy everywhere. In fashion, decorations, aesthetics and even flowers. For the woman among us, let’s be honest… That little girl inside of us is jumping of joy to see pink everywhere! That’s why we say today: Think Pink!
We selected our favorite pink flowers that we have in stock now, check out our Instagram reel to see them together! Our florists inspire us with their stunning flower arrangements, but hopefully we can inspire you as well with our blogs! Read on and get inspired.
Tulip Double Flash Point
Tulip season is just around the corner, and we’ve got some of the cutest varieties in stock for you, from singles to doubles and parrots to frilly lilies. Check out the double Tulip called ‘Flash Point': it starts off with white outside petals, but when it opens, it turns into this lovely pink color with a bright yellow center and dark stems. It’s perfect for a spring bouquet, especially when combined with soft yellow flowers. Also, don't miss the always beautiful double Foxtrot from CoasTulip and the beautiful double Columbus.
Tulips match good with other spring flowers like Hyacints and Daffodils or try them with Cosmos or Poppies. Imagine how good that combination would be...
Pink Tulips come so many different shades, from soft, pastel pinks to bright and popping pinks. The diversity makes sure that every florist can choose what they prefer, or better said, every bride can choose their favorite pink shade. These flowers are pretty much what Spring is about! They make everyone feel good right? Pink Tulips have a fresh and uplifting color that spreads joy and happiness everywhere.
Campanula Med Champion Rose
This flower is known for its bell shape and long vase life, but also for their texture and height, they make a big statement! This is why they would look good with other long stem flowers like Delphinium or Eremurus. What’s special about this flower is what they stand for, they’re all about saying ‘thanks’, staying true and love that lasts forever, that is why they are perfect for weddings – they don’t just add beauty, but also meaning to such a special day.
They come in more colors than pink, think about purple, white and blue. So, there’s a shade for every kind of vibe you’re going for.
“Pink flowers are nature’s love letters, written in soft petals and loved by their sweet scents“
Gerbera Dreamer
When it comes to Gerbera’s I can write a whole book about them, they come in SO many colors and varieties. There are a lot of pink Gerbera’s, Dreamer is very pink and bright with a dark heart, but there are so many more pink shades. I have picked 5 of my fave pink Gerbera’s:
Unique – this one is dark pink, almost like red, with a light heart.
Pre-intenzz – this one has a bright but dark pink color with a plain dark heart, which creates big contrast in the middle.
Arabel – this Gerbera has almost every shade of pink in it, it starts with light pink on the outside but closer to the heart it gets darker.
Pom Big June – this Gerbera is fluffy and light pink with a light green heart, this variety fits perfect with a pastel palette.
Pomponi Janou – this is also a fluffy Gerbera but a lot darker in shade.
There are many more pink Gerbera varieties, you should check them out yourself. Click on the filter ‘pink’ and all the pink shades pop up!
Matthiola Milla Light Pink
One of the most notable things about a Matthiola flower is its strong and sweet fragrance, the scent is rich and sweet, just like the small flowers on the stems. The Matthiola is a top choice for wedding bouquets because of its texture, the height and the small flowers add a cute touch to the flower arrangement. This flower also comes in many colors.
Spray Rose Flinders Lane
In my opinion, this is one of the prettiest pink Spray Roses in our shop. The Spray Rose has multiple little flowers on the stems. The small flowers are light pink, almost like cream, but when you look closely it is almost like someone sprayed a darker shade on the petals. This makes the flower even more versatile because it matches with even more colors. Such a pretty variety. Anemone Orchid
There are a lot of Anemones in pink, a lot of different shades even. From pink/purple to dyed pink or bright pink. Every pink Anemone is unique and that’s what makes this flower so special, think about a white wedding bouquet with soft pink tones. How dreamy would that be?!
There are also a lot of different varieties, we have powder dyed, Levante and the beautiful single colors in every shade you can think of. Check it out yourself!
Rose Flecos
This Rose is one of a kind, it is almost like a garden Rose. It is big, fluffy and even a bit ruffled, the color of this Rose is beyond beautiful which makes it a perfect fit in a pink wedding bouquet. Imagine this pink Rose together with soft pink tones and white flowers, it will pop out like confetti and can be used as a centerpiece. A pink Rose is of course a representation of love, it represents admiration, blooming love and affection – a bouquet with pink Roses would create a special gift for a loved one.
Of course, there are so many more beautiful pink flowers, too many to name. Think about Dahlias, they have many pink shades and shapes, or Carnations – there are a LOT of pink shades. We are curious about what your favorite pink flower is, share it on your feed and tag us in your work!
