Seasonal availability How to price The benefits

The season of love, white wedding dresses, rustic locations and emotional vows is around the corner. Although a wedding day will be the most important day in the lives of the brides and grooms, it is very stressful for you as a florist. Dealing with brides (and their moms), their Pinterest boards and having the Peony as favorite flower – that of course isn’t in season on the big day. And did we already Sspeak about quoting months ahead? Wedding flowers are pretty, but seasonal availability and fulfilling the happy couples wishes can both be pretty stressful. But no worries, Hoek flowers is here to help… Let’s talk about this top tier feature.

Seasonal availability – wedding flowers

The Wedding List is made for you, so you can pre-order your wedding flowers, months in advance. This tool will simplify your workflow and take away some stress, you can now prepare invoices earlier and get your flowers for a fixed price! Nothing beats certainty. We have collaborated with our favorite growers and created fixed prices from April to September, providing you an assortment filled with seasonal flowers.

“Are you ready for a stress-less wedding season?”

We have created a list for each month, with the seasonal products, but because with the months changing, the available products change... That’s why the Weddings List differs a bit per month. Perfect to already know what products are available in a specific month. Since flowers are natural products, weather is of influence on production. If a product is not available due to unforeseen reasons, we will inform you in advance.

How to price Wedding flowers?

We all know that quoting a wedding can be quite challenging. There are so many external factors influencing the flower costs. Changes in the seasonal flower availability, fluctuations in prices, customer preferences and finally… their expectations. The ‘I do’ to a proper wedding flower proposal often is so much harder than the ‘I do’ at the altar. Not for nothing: “How much do wedding flowers cost?”, is one of the most Googled questions among our brides to be. Did you know that lots of florists find quoting the most difficult part of their job? Whether they just started or are already in the business for many years. Fortunately, there is light at the end of the wedding tunnel… a light that’s called: the Wedding List.

What are the benefits?

First, it lets you plan your flower arrangements way ahead of time, making sure you have the flowers you need when you need them, and they're fresh. The set prices and the lists of flowers available each month makes it easier to figure out your budget and plan your designs. Knowing what kind of flowers you can get and when you can get them means you can make you worry less about finding flowers at the last minute. This makes things less stressful during the busy wedding season, so you can spend more time being creative and less time dealing with the details of getting flowers.

Example: If you have a wedding on Sunday September 13, you can already decide to pre-order your flowers now in September's Wedding List (for the departure day of your choice) or the latest on August 23 before midday.

Last but not least. Our wedding list is not the holy grail, but a guideline as well as a tool to guarantee yourself flower quantities and prices. In the end communication with your client is always ‘key’.
