How to condition your flowers from Ecuador

After a long flight, everyone needs rest right? Your flowers do too! Handle them with care, give them fresh water with flower food and place them in a cool area. Change the water regularly and give them a good rest to revitalize.

Ecuador’s Climate: Perfect for growing flowers

Ecuador is renowned for producing the most exquisite roses, you probably know them as well: our lovely Four Seasons Quality roses! But, Ecuador’s climate is perfect for growing all kinds of flowers. Due it’s stable climate, where nighttime temperatures remain mild and daytime temperatures avoid extremes, flowers can grow without any trouble. That combined with the high amount of sunlight the flowers get because they grow on the equator, produces flowers with large blooms and vibrant colors.

This informative and fun trip is all about discovering the origin and cultivation method of the Mediterranean products we offer in our web shop. A mixed group of florists from the UK, Northern Ireland, Ireland, and the US gathered to join the Hoek team on this great adventure.
